Searchable image tags

I need to know how to be able to assign tags to an image (EX. ball, round, bouncy, red). These tags need to be able to be searchable so that people can find the image they need and download it. Also, what is the best way to set up a downloads page? I am using the theme vantage. Thanks for the help.

    Hi Matt

You could add an image per post and then assign tags to the post. That would be one way I could think of.

Here is another method using WP Media Tagger:

With regards to a download page, I suppose in it’s most basic form you could just link to the item being downloaded and let users know they need to right click and select Download As or whatever the browser specific action is there. If you’re selling then you could check out something like EDD: https://easydigitaldownloads.com/.
