Hmmm, I have an odd situation.
My search results aren’t selectable.
The search page works just fine…however, the results ? Not so much with that!
There’s nothing to select.
The search will come up with results, yippppeee!
BUT there’s no way to drill down further.
Something is amiss.
Go to tangotopics.com and run a search, type “milonga”
You’ll see that the search does return results, however, you can’t go any further than that.
Am I missing something ????
Is there a way to modify this so that it returns a list of links to posts with excerpts ?
Like:
link => Title of Post Title of Post Title of Post <==
excerpt of post
If that's what the search page is supposed to do … it's not doing that. :-(

I had
.entry-title { margin-bottom: 5px; clear: none; font-size: 0px; line-height: 0px; height: 0px; }Which would make the title not visible.
Ok, yay problem solved. Except now I have this Title on the page of every page that I don’t want there. That page title isn’t visually desirable for what I have in mind. I took it out for a reason.
How do I keep the necessary title in the search results, but not everywhere else ????

Sorry, ENTRY TITLE…not Page Title…I know two different things. Sorry I wasn’t being clear.

Ok, after a little digging I believe I solved my own problem.
I edited the template-parts/content-single.php page.
line 20 looks like this ->
I commented out the line, and that seems to have solved the issue.
Am I correct ?
If I am I know that I now need to move that modification into my child theme, so that the modification staysh and when you folks update the template, I don’t lose the work, right ?
