Search not working due to “Copy content” not working

Pages created with PageBuilder do not show up in search results, while pages created with WordPress editor show up normally.

Just located the reason:

PageBuilder settings, option “Copy Content” is activated.
However, when I save a PageBuilder page, the content is not copied to wp_posts.post_content field and no new revision of the page is created.

When I just change the title of the page, a new revision is created but the wp_posts.post_content field is also not filled.

I currently have WP 4.7.1 and PageBuilder 2.4.21, using Theme SiteOrigin North

Any hints?

    Hi,

    I did some additional research:

    Deactivated all additional plugins. Same behavior. No new page revision, no copied content.

    Wrong information above: The problem occurs on WP 4.7.2.
    Compared to another installation with WordPress 4.7.1: Everything is fine.

    just for your information: Today I updated SiteOrigin PageBuilder to version 2.4.23 and the widgets bundle to version 1.8.

    The situation is still the same:
    When editing pages in PageBuilder, no new revision of the page is created and content ist not copied to wp_posts.post_content field in the database.

    just for your information: Today I updated SiteOrigin PageBuilder to version 2.4.24 and the widgets bundle to version 1.8.1.

    The situation is still the same.
