Search field in origami header?

How?

It makes sense for me to have a lot on the front page, which makes a widget search field a loooong way off.

An alternative could be to make a static front page with a search option and the reason for this (that the site is thematically strong and well tagged) – plus the menus, of course.

thank you,

    PS: I am an idiot.

There IS one. Right in the header. How could I overlook it?!
