Scroll to load content on homepage

Hey Team!

I bought your premium the other week as I used the free version and absolutely loved it!

I’ve seen a cool feature on a few wordpress themes, when the user scrolls down the page it will load the content. At first I didn’t like this but thinking about the way I’ve laid my site out I think it would be a pretty neat feature.

I’ve search around but as I’m not sure what it’s called I’m not really getting anywhere. I tried things like: Infinite-Scroll and Lazy Load but I don’t think that these are what I’m looking for. Does S/O have a plugin to do this or a feature I could request for a later update?

Many thanks,

Dean

P.S. I forgot to select a Thread Topic and pressed ‘post thread’ and it refresh the page but didn’t save the text, be nice if it could as I had to write all this out again for silly people like me haha!

    Hi Dean

    Thanks for your support.

If you’re using the default “Blog” layout for your Blog page then you can use Jetpack Infinite Scroll: https://jetpack.me/support/infinite-scroll/.

The Infinite Scroll module is only applicable for the blog section of your site.

    Hey,

Thanks very much for replying, that’s still not quite what I’m after. Not to say other themes but if you look at Vertex Theme by Elegant Themes. You notice each part of the website loads as you scroll down.

So you have the slider with, and then you scroll down it loads a headline, then scroll a bit further it’ll load a something else and so on.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the additional feedback. Unfortunately, Vantage is only compatible with Jetpack Infinite Scroll which is a blog post specific module and doesn’t apply to regular content. I’m sure we’ll be introducing features like this to our Page Builder plugin in the future, unfortunately, nothing is available at the moment.
