Save button at end of page or better floating

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Happy New Year all,

I hope you are doing well.

Thank you for your great work.

This is just a recommendation to make SiteOrigin even better. I’m using the plugin exclusively to add custom CSS via the text editor. The page can really grow and each time I have to scroll up simply to save. This is pretyy cumbersome.

Idea: Add floating save button or at least a save button at the end of the page too.

I also don’t like the fact that after saving the cursor is back at the top of the CSS-code. Would be much easier if all stayed right were it was.

I hope this will make it someday to the improvements.

Good luck and keep developping your great plugins.

With best regards,

ShadowHunter

Hi, thanks for reaching out and sending your feedback, it’s most appreciated.

The next version of SiteOrigin CSS will resolve an issue introduced by WordPress 5.6. The CSS field scrollbar was removed. https://github.com/siteorigin/so-css/pull/125. I’ve uploaded a beta copy of the next release, you can download it here. If you have a moment, perhaps give the beta a try, hopefully, it’ll help your workflow a bit.
