‘Responsive mode’ not working on mobile phone

Hi hoping you can help,

I’ve just started sorting out my website and am using your origami theme. It’s all working so far, apart from that when I view my website on my mobile phone, it shows it in standard web view rather than responsive.

When I reduce my browser window size on my computer it switches into responsive fine, but not on my mobile. Also I’ve viewed your origami demo page and that displays responsively on my phone.

I’ve switched responsive layout on in two places – the appearance>origami premium theme settings as well as the settings>page builder>display tick box

Am I being stupid and missing something totally obvious somewhere? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

my site is www.licensedtoill.co.uk

Thanks, Lon

    Hi Lon

Looking at your page, I see that the whole page is basically an iframe pointing to the URL http://licensedtoill.lonchan.com. I’m not sure why it’s doing this, but if you view that URL on a mobile device it should work properly.

Basically you want your .co.uk domain name to point directly to your WordPress site, rather than proxy through an iframe.

    Hi Greg,

Thanks for the quick response, that’s great! The next thing on my list was to properly map my domains so that works out well.
I guess the iframe is how my host proxy’s the domain, which is interesting too.

keep up the great work guys and thanks again,
    Lon
