Responsive header issue on Ipad

By walbwal, 9 years ago. Last reply by Greg Priday, 9 years ago.

My logo and image in my header are overlapping and crossing over when viewing on an ipad. In addition, my site origin image in my header jumps around when viewed on Safari browser, when the page is refreshed or a new page is selected, it corrects itself to the proper position. I would appreciate any feedback on how to fix these issues.

    Hi Walbwal

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Walbwal

So I can kind of follow what’s happening. The issue here is that the header widget was really designed to handle smaller widgets like the social networks widget. The larger image you’re using is breaking a few things. Right now, the only thing I can suggest is try making the image you’re adding to the header widget area slightly smaller, and see if that helps.

I’ve logged this as an issue in our issue tracker. I’ll take a look during our next run through Vantage. I’ll keep you posted on this.
