    Hi Lee,
    Yes, it’s possible to remove the post text however, it has to be hidden on a post by post basis. I can help you with doing this though. I’ll public URL where I can take a look to be able to write the custom CSS. If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Regarding turning off the dimming effect; you can disable the dimming effect by setting the animation speed to nothing (there must be nothing is in the animation speed input). To do this, open up your slider widget and scroll down to the bottom. Open the controls group and it’s the first option.

    Hi Lee,

    Yo hide the page title navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Just add the following code.

    .postid-67 .post-heading {
        display: none;
    }

    You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.

    Regarding the slider; sorry, but I was mistaken – this isn’t possible with the base theme. We recommend switching to another slider plugin if you would like to accomplish this. I recommend Meta Slider, Revolution sliders (paid) or LayerSlider (paid). All of those plugins interface wonderfully with the Focus theme. Once installed there will be new settings on the theme settings page to allow you greater control.
