Hi there,
I’m trying to remove the spacing above my headerimage. I was puzzeling to make my navbar transparent, which worked (I think). But now there is still a spacebetween the top of the page and my slider.
Is there some easy way to remove this?

    Hi Rob

Thanks for reaching out. Did you make progress on this one? All looks good on our side.

    Hi Andrew,

The spacing above the main image still exists.
It’s hard to see, but when I make my sticky navbar transparent, then you’ll see there’s a blank spacing above my Meta slider image.

Somehow I’ve disabled the masthead, which leaves the navbar and the slider/header.
My wish is to have a transparent navbar over the top of my slider/header, and when the user scrolls down, the sticky navbar will turn white in stead of transparent.
But this is something I did not succeed in.
Hopefully this is possible so I can alter it.

    Greetings,

    Rob

I’ve just made the navbar transparent in the normal and in the sticky position so it’s easier to spot the difference.

    Maybe something like

    #masthead.site-header {  margin-bottom: -150px;}

might dot he trick, assuming you use custom css

      Hi Philip,

      Your code did the trick.
I’m a starter in this, so I’m trying to find my way around in CSS.

      Thanks a lot!

      Greetings,

      Rob

Hi I used the code that Philip suggested and it worked perfectly for what I wanted to do. However, is there a way to change this on the blog post page. Currently this is how it looks:

Obviously I would like to bring the blog title and meta info lower, is there a way to do that for blog posts only? This is all supposed to go live tomorrow, so I appreciate any help I can get ASAP. Thanks in advance. :D
