Hi, I am using the Snapshot theme. I have a homepage slider which I use to show shots of recent work (rather than blog articles) I controlled this using the ‘stick this post to the front page’ tick box.
I also have a blog page. I don’t want a slider on this page. I have used the ‘full width’ template but it displays a slider, please can you tell me how to remove the slider?
In addition my homepage now features one of my blog posts ‘An invigorating start to 2015’ I only want selected posts to show in this slider, as mentioned its to showcase my latest work not blog posts.

Try setting your Blog page template to Blog, that should ensure the slider doesn’t display.
Or use the Full Width page template you’re using now. Just don’t set that page as the Posts page under Settings > Reading. Remove that setting. Then to gets posts displaying on your blog page, insert a Post Loop widget via our Page Builder plugin, on the blog page.
Under Appearance > Theme Settings Slider > Posts Category, it’s possible to limit your slider to one category. That’s the only setting you can use in this regard.
