Remove logo from front page only.

Hello,

I have tried some of the instructions on this forum for removing the logo with css code but these don’t seem to work on my site- I an developing the site on localhost using the Vantage Child Slider-Before-Menu option. Will this require different code?

I would like to remove the logo (not the menu bar) from the front page but not the other pages. I don’t think removing the masthead is an option.

Any help would be appreciated.
