Remove Category Archives, Vantage theme

Hi have read several posts here regarding removal of the Category Archives on the blog landing page while keeping the title. So far what I have found is that the only way is a child theme?
Is currently using this code snippet to remove both Category Archive and my page title.
/* Archives */

.archive .page-header #page-title {
display: none;
}

However :-) as I’m not the only Vantage user looking for this functionality this might be some functionality to build into the theme? Have seen this in other themes and it would be really useful.
Second best: a code snippet like above to include in the CSS field but would say here is my limit as not being a programmer.

Thanks for reaching out.
There isn’t a tag wrapping the title prefix so, unfortunately, there isn’t a CSS method we can offer to assist.
The prefix can be removed via a child theme, if you’d like guidance on that, please, let us know.
