Remove builtin icon when using my own icon image

By Steve, 8 years ago. Last reply by Steve, 8 years ago.

Hi,
I originally set up the feature with icon None and my own image. I started experimenting with the builtin icons and ultimately decided to use my own. My question is how to remove the builtin icon (ie return to None). It isn’t showing on the web page when published but it seems to make sense to remove the original. How can I do that? Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Steve

Thanks for reaching out. If you’re using the SiteOrigin Features widget then an icon will only be rendered if you select one. When clicking the Choose Icon button you’ll see the icon options, an icon is selected if it has a blue border around it, clicking the icon a second time removes the blue border.

If you’re using the default Vantage Circle Icon widget, you can set the icon drop down select to “None”. It’s the first item on the list.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick response. I’m using the Features and I did find the blue box. Unchecking it took care of the stock icon. Thanks.
