Reducing width of meta slider

10 years ago · Last reply by Daniel 10 years ago

I just did an update and now the meta slider will not hold my width settings. I want it to be 900 x 300 but it’s the full width of the page. I have saved it 4 times but it doesn’t change the size and it even goes back to 1080 width.

    Hi Christmaslyric4537

I have just checked your site and the meta slider is no longer full width as you mentioned. Did you have the solved?

If you ever make a change and it does not reflect to your site, the first thing to check is server-side caching through plugins like W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, etc. If you have any of these caching/performance plugins installed, try clearing their cache and see if that helps.

It might also be browser cache. Try clearing your browser cache, and then refreshing the page to see if that helps.

You can read more about this sort of issue on the WordPress codex – http://codex.wordpress.org/I_Make_Changes_and_Nothing_Happens

    Kindly let me know

    Cheers

Thank you for the caching information. I think it’s the size of my monitor screen at home. When I log into my website from work, with a larger screen, it is not full width which is what I want.

Thank you for the reply. :)
