Reducing text size in circles loop

How do I reduce the amount of text coming from a post in the Circles loop?

At the moment its bringing back about six lines, and I only want a max of 3

    Hi Shane

    The circle loop uses your post’s excerpt text. So if you manually enter a shorter excerpt, you’ll be able to control how many lines are shown.
