Reduce space between Home slider and widget and add Title over images

9 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 9 years ago

Hi there,

I am really struggling trying to reduce the white space between the home slider and the Site Origin widget. I understand I need a CSS code but I have been trying to copy paste some from other threads and nothing works. I also have now clue about coding and I am a real beginner here.

My url is www.weddingsinpubs.co.uk

Also I believe I need a plugin to allow me to add a text above my SiteOrigin Images on my second row? Any advice?

Thanks in advance,

Fiona

    Hi Fiona

    Thanks for reaching out.

    You can try adding the following to Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Home */
    .home-padding {
        display: none;
    }

    Try replacing your SiteOrigin Image widgets with SiteOrgin Editor widgets. The Editor widget has a widget title field, you can use that to insert the text that goes above your image. Within the Editor widget is an Add Media button. You can use that to add your image.
