Really Struggling with images

Hi everyone,
I have looked at lots of threads on images but either I don’t understand them or they don’t address my issue…
I have access to lots of high quality images on DollarPhoto and use these to create the tops of my new website. I am using the Tesseract Theme.
When I load them into a row and size it for say 400 pixels the image is massively zoomed in and the focus of the image is lost.
I’ve tried resizing my images in Gimp but whatever I do none of the images are correct.
I use a row in the SO Visual Editor and edit the row properties to set the image as follows:
Page is set to Full Width
Row is 100% wide
Row Layout is Full Width
Row Design/Image is set to Cover

It is just so disappointing to be stuck unable to use 99% of my relevant images.
Here’s my site (its unfinished)
www.little-london.net
Please take a look at the Cyber Health Assessment Page, The image should be visible but its massively zoomed in. I tried the SO CSS plug-in and it seemed to just stick to the home page. I opened the assessment page in another tab and noted a zoom level of 1 for the image but I couldn’t see the other SO CSS windows and couldn’t find a way to change the zoom level (if it wold help).
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Sam

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sam

    Thanks for the wait.

    Images:
I’m not sure I see the zooming issue. Whether you use background-size: cover or I manually switch the CSS to background-size: 100%, the result is the same. I’ve downloaded the image from the Cyber Security page onto my local computer. When I open it in Preview it looks exactly the same as it does on your site.

You can navigate between pages by clicking the magnifying glass icon bottom left. That will disable the inspector and allow you to use the site navigation.
