Read More: the saga continues

I would like my readers to see a few lines of … something, then have a chance to click … something, if the wish to read more. In Page Builder, there is an icon that seems to create exactly this function.

But it does not seem to work. Posts from 8-9 months ago suggest that you were aware of this situation and that it would be fixed. Surely I am missing something.

Help!

Thank you.

ps if you remind me about where I can find my vantage premium order number, I will include it in the box below.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi David

    Thanks for reaching out.

The more quicktag is a core function of WordPress posts, specifically posts. It allows users to split content between the archive/blog page and the single post page using the read more quicktag. In the past users that use Page Builder for their posts have requested this functionality in Page Builder. We’ve looked at this pretty hard over the past month and right now it’s unfortunately not possible. It’s a core WordPress feature, Page Builder doesn’t store it’s data in the same location as the regular post data, this is the limitation we face.

However I think what you’re after is very attainable. Ken just asked it the other day and Magus went through the basics of using the Show/Hide plugin. Perhaps take a look at their chat when you have a moment, I’m sure you’ll find it useful:
