Question Regarding Styling Menu Items With SiteOrigin CSS Editor
When I am using the CSS Editor in visual mode, I cannot seem to select menu items in their normal state to change their appearance. I can only select them in their hovered state. Although I know how to manually address this in the CSS, it would be convenient to be able to select both the normal and hovered states of a menu item to style them each within the visual mode. Am I missing something here?

3Hi Tom,
Oddly, you should be only able to see the non-hovered state so I’m not too sure why you’re only seeing the hover state. To clarify, are you mousing on top of the menu item? Can you send me a copy of the CSS you’ve generated for your menu?
Here is a screencast of what is happening on my end

In that instance, the CSS it generated is:
.main-navigation ul li:hover > a { background-color: #ff0000; }Hi Tom,
Okay so in that instance it makes sense that the hover state was used – it’s very apparent to SiteOrigin CSS.
To use the default selector, please either manually remove the :hover (select it, then remove it from the text once the visual view is closed) or please select the non-hover selector in the selector list.
Please note that your desired customization may already be possible through theme design settings – please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme DesignMenu.
