Question regarding SiteOrigin Masonry plugin please

On my site, http://giftsespressolovers.com I have just today installed the Masonry plugin and it looks to be a good one!

I am using it within PageBuilder but my posts are overlapping the text that was already in another block in PageBuilder.

I tried adding a blank PageBuilder block in between the Masonry widget and the one with the text, but my posts just keep overlapping the text.

Can you help? I don’t know anything about query stuff.

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi Carrie. Glad you’re liking Masonry. Can you send me a link to a page you’re using it on and I’ll take a look.

Yes, my site is http://giftsespressolovers.com. That is my homepage.

If you just scroll down from the top a tiny bit you will see that the posts are overlapping the text that was already there.

The text is in a separate page builder block, above the one where I have added the Masonry widget.

Thanks so much for your quick response! I REALLY do want to learn how to use this widget, looks great!

    Hi, I Work Here

Ok with you now. The intention with the plugin was more a usage case like this: http://demo.siteorigin.com/origami/masonry-layout.

Are you using the Text Widget to insert your text? Can you try using the Black Studio TinyMCE and let me know if anything changes:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/

Once installed the widget is called Visual Editor.

I started out using the Visual Editor Widget.

I also tried a text widget after you suggested that, and that helped somewhat but I’m still having the overlapping issue.

I do have the Black Studio TinyMCE installed in my plugins but don’t see it as an option within the widgets available in PageBuilder.

It appears that the Black Studio TinyMCE is for using with the sidebars.

Regarding what you mentioned previously, where you showed me the demo, were you saying that this Masonry widget isn’t meant to be used with text on the same page. but rather instead to just show posts on a page?

    Hi, I Work Here

When you hit the + button and insert a widget in Page Builder search for Visual Editor, that’s now the Black Studio widget. Just a rename, same widget. You can definitely use it in Page Builder, let me know if there is any difference when using it.

Okay, I cut all my text out of the page builder blocks and pasted it into a Word doc so I wouldn’t lose it.
Then I deleted all of the blocks in Page Builder that were on my homepage.
After that I inserted three brand-new Page Builder blocks that had nothing in them.
Then I inserted a Visual Editor widget into the top new Page Builder block, and pasted my first section of text into that.
Then I inserted the Masonry widget into the second (middle) Page Builder of the three.
And finally, I inserted another Visual Editor widget into the third (bottom) Page Builder block and pasted all that content back in.
However, I’m still getting the overlapping at http://giftsespressolovers.com
I mainly started using this because I purchased the Virtue WordPress theme, which came with Page Builder, and at the bottom of the Page Builder widgets it suggested other widgets (the Masonry widget) that they said worked well with Page Builder, so I decided to give the Masonry one a try, but I may have to not use that after all. BUMMER! I really like it. I will play around with it some more and see if I can get anywhere, and will let you know if I do get anywhere. Thanks for all of your great support regarding this matter, Andrew!

Maybe I need to resize my images differently or something.
I am even getting overlapping of the two posts currently in there on top of each other.

    Hi Carrie

I think this is a CSS issue with the way the theme is handling certain elements. Please send me a set of temporary login details to [email protected] and I’ll take a look.
