Can I programmatically remove or disable the Vantage sidebar on my website using JavaScript?
It would be nice if users could remove it so the pages could widen.

The easiest solution here is to just remove all the widgets from the sidebar. Navigate to Appearance > Widgets in your WordPress admin. Locate the Sidebar area, then remove the widgets.
Vantage will automatically widen the pages for you.
If you’d like to control this on a per page basis, then you can use something like WooSidebars.
