Problem with post loop pagination not working

Hi,
I have added the post loop to one of my SiteOrigin panels – this displays just great, however although the query says there are 10 posts, I enter 5 per page, and only 5 display – great at this point, however the pagination options for page 2,3 etc. are not showing on the bottom.

I have tried changing theme, still the same. I have also disabled all plugins except the siteorigin ones, and still the same.

Can anybody help me out with this one? I’m a bit stuck and can’t think of what to try next.

By the way – I wrote a custom page template with has pagination and this works fine.
