Problem with logo

I have a logo that is 2000 x 858 pixels with a resolution of 400 pixels/inch. I know how to edit it to make it thinner but even with the layout chosen as “full width” the logo is not stretching across the entire page (like my slider is). Can anyone help?

The logo has a partial watermark on the right. And because it’s not stretching to the right of the page it makes it looks like the logo is cut off which it’s not.

    Hi Karen

    Even with full width, the top area (masthead) is given a maximum width to ensure things don’t scale up out of control.

    If you’d like to make the masthead full width, the following custom CSS should do the trick. Just navigate to Appearance > Custom CSS and add:

    header#masthead {
      padding: 0;
    }

    #masthead .full-container {
      max-width: 100% !important;
    }
