Problem with Gallery-Template

We would like to use the Vantage theme for our website, but I am facing following problem: We often use the Gallery Template for contributions, because the uploaded photos are shown nicely in a kind of slideshow sequentially. But when I activate the Vantage Theme, no more photos will be displayed. Why is that so?

    Hi Wolfgang

    Are you attempting to add a gallery via the regular interface in a page/post (Visual/Text) or via Page Builder?

    If you’re adding a gallery via Page Builder I suggest using this Visual Editor widget. This widget has an Add Media button. To get access to this widget you must first install:

    Hi Andrew

    No, we don’t use Page Builder, only the regular interface. We write e.g. an article, add photos via “Add media” Button und then choose the “Gallery” template in the box on the right side (http://www.elmastudio.de/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/bildergalerie-artikel-formatvorlagen-01.jpg) . With our actual theme “Intuition” the photos are immediately shown as a kind of slideshow. Is this in vantage not possible?

    Thanks for the info. I’m with you now. Vantage, to my knowledge, doesn’t have a slideshow ready for the post format gallery. My suggestion would be to combine Jetpack’s Tiled Galleries and Carousel modules:
