I’m using vantage. I’ve got a gallery page where I am using NextGEN. Layout was 6 columns and 4 rows and displayed with no problems until a few days ago. Now all the images only show in a single column only. No idea why it changed and I can’t figure out how to restore it to it’s previous format. Need help please…
Thanks for your thread Dale. We’ll pick it up over here: https://siteorigin.com/thread/picture-gallery-layout-changed/.
Problem seems to be compatibility issue with either the vantage them, the nextGEN gallery plugin, or the new WordPress 4.0 platform. I deactivated all plugins and reactivated each one at a time. For some reason, NextGEN gallery optimizer appears to be the offending plugin. No idea why it affected the galleries like this, but once deactivated, everything else seemed to restore to it’s previous state. Just a bit slower loading (which was the only need I had for the optimizer plugin in the first place).
Thanks for the follow-up here. Please could you re-test with a default theme like Twenty-Fourteen activated. That should let you know whether Vantage is causing a problem or if it’s WP 4.0.
Problem is with the updated NextGEN optimizer plugin. Galleries are working fine on both Vantage and Twenty-fourteen. So neither Vantage nor WP 4.0 is the culprit.
Thanks for your help!
Appreciate the full report back there. Hopefully the plugin authors will be able to resolve soon. All the best.
