Hi,

I’m using the siteorigin pagebuilder but I’m having a problem saving the data.
When I hit save or preview, the content does not change as if it’s not changed at all.

I tried everything (see https://wordpress.org/support/topic/official-topic-for-compatibility-issues-with-page-builder-by-siteorigin?replies=7) but this is a complete mystery.

I can give you a admin login.

Bart

And another question : as the page builder uses serialized data in post_meta, how do I replace old url with new ones when I change host ?

I just did a find/replace in mysql and of course everything is =$ùù=ù$=(‘ùµ=:§(-up !!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Bart

Thanks for the big wait. I’m waiting to hear back from Eric on a plugin conflict test. It’s the first thing I’d try in the case of Black Studio (Visual Editor) not saving. Temporarily de-activate all plugins except for SiteOrigin Page Builder and Black Studio. Test the problem. If it’s resolved, re-activate your plugins one by one with a test of the problem after each activation.

Greg is away at the moment. I’m going to need to run your find/replace question past him. I’ll bring it up in our first meeting when he gets home next week.

    Hi, I Work Here

Did you perhaps have a chance to run a plugin conflict test yourself?

  7. 9 years, 10 months ago Bart Van Deuren

    Yes I almost tried everything…

The client switched now to another page builder :-(
But it was really impossible to save the post data. It always reverted to the old version.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Sorry to hear it.

If you’d ever like to move back, please, let me know. I’d be happy to login and run a few tests. We can almost always resolve these challenges.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Cheers for now :)
