Premium support question

Hi,

I have a question about getting premium support.
I know we can upgrade one of the themes like Vantage and depending on how much we pay, our support tickets will be prioritised.

However, does for example paying for a theme like Vantage, will get me prioritised support even if I need it for the pagebuilder or will that only apply to the premium theme itself I bought?

For now ( I am testing things) I would want only want to start using pagebuilder, but can not seem to “buy” premium support for that?

I would like to start using pagebuilder for my low budget clients, and I am willing to pay, but I need to know I can count on support if things go wrong, I can’t have messed up client sites, even if they had a low budget one.

    Oh, sorry, one more question ( can’t seem to still edit my previous question after I saved it).

    If a premium upgrade is paid, it does only say we get premium support, not for how long?

    Hi Annie,

    Currently, we do not sell premium support for SiteOrigin Page Builder. We’re planning on changing certain things in the upcoming months to allow for either this or something similar but as it’s early days I can’t really say too much at this time.

    If you’re using a premium license on the site, this will also allow you to get premium support for SiteOrigin Page Builder. I say, using because I don’t want you, nor expect you to go out and buy one of our premium themes just to get premium support for Page Builder when you don’t even use the theme.

    It should also be noted that premium support is only offered via email. We do not prioritize the forums anymore as that just complicates things.

    Regarding your question regarding the duration of premium support. Currently, it’s the lifetime of the theme. However, this is obviously not ideal for us, or you so this is also something we’re looking at changing so it’s more outlined in exactly how long you’re entitled to support (all older premium users would likely be grandfathered from that point). It should be noted that Vantage is our most popular theme and we don’t have any plans on stopping support for it soon.

    Hi Alex,

    Thanks for your clarification.

    Who am I to complain if a theme or awesome plugin is free, right?
    But I totally get that there’s tons of work to develop and maintain, so it’s only fair to get paid as well.

    We will see what you guys come up with, I think its better for both parties to have a clear understanding who gets what and how much that costs.
