    Hi Alexandra

    Thanks for getting in touch.

At SettingsReading is the first setting set to Your homepage displays: Your latest posts?

    Hi Alexandra

Thanks for your reply. The support forum, unfortunately, doesn’t support direct media upload or email reply attachments. You can upload images to any online location and share the link.

Is AppearanceHome Page set to OFF?

    Thanks

    Many thanks

That has done the trick – however my posts are just appearing as blank grey boxes that turn blue on rollover. Surely the images I've put with my posts should show?

Thanks for the update. You can perhaps check whether each post has a Featured Image added. You can find the Featured Image setting in the right column when editing a post.

Yes – they do have featured images an they are now appearing – it just took a while -looks good!

    Hi

A further update – unfortunately, although each post has a featured image the images are not appearing on my desktop Mac. I saw them on my iPhone yesterday. The site is tpinsw.org.au

    I await further advice.

    Hi Alexandra

Thanks for the updates. When editing each post, do you see a Featured Image added in the right column? Here is how it looks in the Classic Editor. It’ll look similar in the WordPress Block Editor.

    Thanks

That helps. However in "reading" settings there seems to be a tendency to revert from having my posts page set as my home page to showing the old home page.

I've also sent this message to Andrew.

Hi, if you save AppearanceHome Page with the ON/OFF swtich set to OFF, the theme will default the site to the home page display the latest posts.

    Thanks

I cant see an on/off switch the. But there is a switch set to "your homepage displays latest posts" – so can't see what the trouble is.

If you’re using Vantage, you should see a menu item labeled AppearanceHome Page.
If you click on AppearanceHome Page you’ll see a big ON/OFF toggle switch.
If edits are made to AppearanceHome Page and then saved when the toggle is set to OFF, SettingsReading will automatically be saved to display Home page display latest posts.
It’s easiest to not use AppearanceHome Page and edit your home page directly via Pages.

    Thanks

It's toggled to OFF but problem persists…

Set your home page via SettingsReading.
Don’t edit your home page via AppearanceHome Page; instead, use the Pages menu item in WordPress, and the issue won’t persist.
