Hello guys
Maybe I’ve overworked…but it is like a wall for me)
I have different pages in my navigation menu. When I create a post it ALWAYS goes to News page…
admin panel – http://joxi.ru/n2Yz7klFenaMA6
website – http://joxi.ru/KAx5Rz3TKReLr8
writing settings – http://joxi.ru/MAjMV1gTkaNl2e
What’s wrong? =|
Best regards
Andy

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Andy

Head to Pages > News. Look in the right column, is that page template set to Blog. If so, then that’s the reason. Perhaps re-name the page title.

Let me know if this isn’t the case.

I’m unfortunately unsure as to the order number issue. I’ll email it to you now to confirm we have the right one.

    Hi Andrew

One of the page was “Default template”, the other was “Full width”.

    It was like that.

I set up the News category for the very first time. Then tried to post there a test news. Everything was fine. The test news was in the right place.

Then I decided to make another category, to post on the other page – Services.

And that was the beginning of my fails. Now EVERY new post goes to the News page…even if I choose another category…

Maybe I can give you the admin’s access in order to fix it proper and faster?

    Hi, I Work Here

Can you perhaps send through a link to your site and I’ll take a quick look. Sorry, I can’t seem to find it.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Got it.

You hadn’t upgraded to Premium yet. I’ve inserted your order number in our field under Settings > General. Head to Dashboard > Updates to run the update.

If you head to Settings > Reading, you’ll see there that your News page is listed as your Posts page. That’s why they are all appearing on that page.

    Hope that helps.

    Andrew,

You saved the situation…like always! Thank you. I really appreciate it.

I thought that only in Settings -> WRITING i need to make some changes…now I know a bit more :)

P.S. I have upgraded my RU version of website. And I had problem on both sites. And showed you an english variant website in order to understand the settings and all the content.

By the way can I have both sites upgraded with my premium number or not?

    Best regards

    Andy

    Hi, I Work Here

Really glad to hear you made progress here. Thanks for the info and update. Sure, it’s no problem to run Vantage on all the sites on this network.
