Post loop widget – Build posts query – sorting problems

Hi, I have a custom post type ‘report’ with a custom (numeric) field ‘year_published’
I have a page with a post loop widget and I see the query builder has an ‘Order by’ selector. How do I use this to indicate my sorting? I have specified “by numeric meta value” in the drop-down. I have also entered “orderby=year_published” in the Additional query arguments at the bottom of the query builder form.

FWIW, I also have a template for reports (reports.php) and I see a loops/loop-report.php file, although I can’t say if this was created by someone here or by the Page Builder plugin. These look like other likely places to insert an Order By statement.

    Hi Rpf

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.
