I could not find a thread on this subject, however if it is a duplicate, please remove…
I am trying to edit the Post Loop (PB) with the carousal and my posts, but it stops at the end, is there a setting I should have for “infinite” looping? Thanks for your help!
Sorry I just came across another question…. is there a way to have the scroll happen automatically, as well without “clicking” the navigation?
Hi. I think I’ve gotten this plugin to work on the Vantage Blog page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/infinite-scroll/. But haven’t tested with the Post Loop (PB) widget. Perhaps give it a try.
This plugin should just scroll automatically.
Thank you for your reply… really appreciate it!
I think this is a different one. I am talking about the widget that is on the Home Page for Vantage when I install the theme, for the “Latest Posts” on the bottom. I added some posts and was thinking it would be nice to have them continuous scroll back to the beginning withought having to click the “back” navigation. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Ahh ok with you now. It’s unfortunately not currently possible to have the carousel post loop widget scroll infinitely. I will mention this on my side as a suggestion.
Sorry I don’t have better news.
Thank you! You saved me time looking for something I was doing wrong… okay thanks!
(I was really planning on using this with logos of businesses that I work with, so maybe I will find something that will work like that.)
Just chatted on our side about this. The carousel widget should scroll through all posts, it just won’t do this automatically, you need to click next. Is this not the behaviour you’re seeing?
To use it for logos what you can do is create a post categories called Clients or your name of choice. When you’ve created this category look at the url and find the category ID. Now go to your Post Loop widget and insert an argument as follows in the Additional field of that widget:
cat=x
Where x is the category ID of your Clients category. That way you can use the Post Loop widget to show a particular category.
I will try that… thank you for all the help!
For sure.
Using the same principles you can also setup portfolio pages using the Post Loop widget and it’s Grid template.
