Possible to make blog widget pagination links jump to page anchor?

I have the blog widget midway down a page, using the grid template.

On clicking to go to page 2, I’m taken to the top of the reloaded page and have to scroll down to see the p2 posts.

Is it possible for the pagination links to jump to the midway point down the page to see the p2 posts immediately, for a better visitor experience?
