Possibility to only display a section of PageBuilder when a user is not logged in

Dear all
Firstly, thank you for making WordPress even easier to use, i am having a great time customising a website for my gaming community.

However, I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so that certain modules (such as the ‘SiteOrigin Call To Action’ module) could be made not visible if the user is not logged in – this would be very useful for a Login button which can be highly customised using the Call To Action button.

As you can see in the link i have provided in the Issue URL section, I would love for the ‘Login / Register’ section to only be visible to logged out users.

Hope to hear from you soon.
Mark

    Hi Mark

Glad to hear things are moving along.

If you ever want to run the plugin WP Members, here is a child theme that will allow Page Builder content to be restricted to members only. We should have this fix integrated into Page Builder 1.6 so from that point on the child theme won’t be necessary. You can install child themes from Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme. Activating a child theme does require Cutomizer and Menu settings to be redone.

I looked now and it doesn’t look like WP Members can restrict access to just part of a page or post. Page Builder stores content in a different place to the regular Visual / Text editor, this is why content restriction or membership plugins can struggle with Page Builder.

I haven’t test S2Member with Page Builder but perhaps you can. Here is their guide which includes some info on protecting a part of a page:

Let us know how you come along.

Sorry Mark, I’m working a little late here. Please ignore the child theme, that’s for our Vantage theme and not Influence. I could make one up for Influence on request.

Advice on trying S2Member is the same.

S2Member looks interesting, i will give it a go and let you know my findings.

    Thanks for your help.
