Picture disappears when adding a destination Url

Can anyone help me with the following.

If i enter a destination url in the properties tab of a siteorigin image and publish it on my website it disappears (the picture). The picture does appear when no destination url is given. I would like to put a destination url in a picture to another page on my website when the picture is being clicked on.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Dutch

    Thanks for posting.

We’re unsure as to why this might be the case. Have you tried inserting your image via the SiteOrigin Editor widget > Add Media button. Does the same problem occur?

Thanks for your reply. I insert the image as follows:

Go to a specific page -> click on edit -> pagebuild tab -> add new row -> right click on row and select siteorigin image -> edit siteorigin image -> image file choose media -> upload file -> destination url specific page on website (direct URL or select content) -> finish

I tried this the above again before posting this and the picture still disappears after adding a destination url.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks, Dutch.

Could you please, try using the SiteOrigin Editor widget instead. It’s different to the SiteOrigin Image widget. For testing purposes, it will be helpful to know if the same problem is occurring. The SiteOrigin Editor widget has an Add Media button in it.

    Hi Dutch,

I have had a few issues with the SiteOrigin Image including a url with a target not behaving correctly. I have worked around it by using the SiteOrigin Editor Widget. And only inserting a media item. Looking at the site, I am wondering if in fact you are not taklking about the Site Origin Hero Image?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Philip :)

Dutch, is this the exact page you’re working on?

    http://www.familielegebeke.nl/

If not, please, confirm which page on your site you’ve been testing on.

At some point it might be worth switching themes to Twenty Fifteen and see if the problem persists with that theme activated.

Thanks for all your support and answers. I switched to text links underneath the pictures instead of picture links. That also works :)
