PB 2.5.1. seems to be missing panel-grid-cell floats

Someone on staff updated plugins during the day and with no backup… and they learned a lesson.

Suddenly we had no columns – everything was stacked one on top of the other.

Seems like the PageBuilder 2.5.1 stylesheet is missing the float function on .panel-grid-cell ??
stopped all our columns from collapsing and sitting one on top of the other…

I’ve reverted to 2.4.25 and everything’s back to normal.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi George

This update of Page Builder changed the layouts to use flexbox – a more modern standard for displaying grid layouts. This gave us access to additional features.

If the new layouts are conflicting with your theme, plugins or widgets, then you can switch to using the legacy layouts which use floats. In your WordPress admin, navigate to SettingsPage BuilderLayoutsUse Legacy Layout Engine and change that to always.

Fantastic – thanks, Greg. Will try the new layouts on other projects!

I was just going through the list of improvements for 2.5 and 2.5.1 and it looks very exciting (labelling, yeahh!!)… but I went to upgrade to 2.5.1 and it’s no longer showing, nor is 2.5.1 listed as the latest version in the repository…

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi George

It’s 12:15AM here in South Africa, I just rolled back the stable tag while I get some sleep (these update times do result in a lot of additional support queries). You can still download 2.5.1 from the advanced page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/siteorigin-panels/advanced/

I’ll release it in again the morning.
