Pagination on post loop widget no longer working

I am administering a site (diylowell.org) running Vantage with some modifications in a child theme, including a few custom templates that show a custom post type (“idea”). I have a number of plug-ins to allow users to register and submit posts of this custom type from the front page.

There are a number of pages that use Page Builder’s Post Loop widget to show a specified number of those posts, using the custom template, ordered by date or name, sticky posts default, with some query arguments to exclude certain categories with the “idea” post type. This was all working great until recently (I believe the last WordPress and Page Builder plugin updates).

The pagination on on the Post Loop widget no longer shows up anywhere I can find, so it will only show 3 posts if I set the “posts per page” to 3, without the 1 2 3 … Next>> buttons.

Pagination isn’t completely broken on the website: if I make the front page display my latest posts and set the number of posts for blog posts to display in reading settings to a low number, the 1 2 3 … Next>> buttons appear. They just do not appear when using the Post Loop widget.

Is there something I’m overlooking? Thanks so much in advance!
