Hi,

I just clicked on the Pagebuilder prompt in my WP Dashboard to update.

I’m sure nothing else caused the problems as it is my habit to check my site every time I update something.

Now the section just below the footer on every page is showing a chunk of code, part of which I paste here:

uga_get_option: max_user_level (8) Not tracking user with level 10 Ending uga_track_user: Ending uga_filter:

Alaska
Start uga_wp_footer_track: Start uga_get_tracker Start uga_in_feed Ending uga_in_feed: Start uga_track_user Start uga_get_option: ignore_users uga_options: array ( ‘internal_domains’ => ‘www.taxattorneynearme.us,taxattorneynearme.us’, ‘account_id’ => ‘UA-93029953-1’, ‘enable_tracker’ => true, ‘track_adm_pages’ => true, ‘ignore_users’ => true, ‘max_user_level’ => ‘8’, ‘footer_hooked’ => true, ‘filter_content’ => true, ‘filter_comments’ => true, ‘filter_comment_authors’ => true, ‘track_ext_links’ => true, ‘prefix_ext_links’ => ‘/outgoing/’, ‘track_files’ => true, ‘prefix_file_links’ => ‘/downloads/’, ‘track_extensions’ => ‘gif,jpg,jpeg,bmp,png,pdf,mp3,wav,phps,zip,gz,tar,rar,jar,exe,pps,ppt,xls,doc’, ‘track_mail_links’ => true, ‘prefix_mail_links’ => ‘/mailto/’, ‘debug’ => true, ‘check_updates’ => true, ‘version_sent’ => ‘1.6.0’, ‘advanced_config’ => true, ) Ending uga_get_option: ignore_users (1) Start uga_get_option: max_user_level uga_options: array ( ‘internal_domains’ => ‘www.taxattorneynearme.us,taxattorneynearme.us’, ‘account_id’ => ‘UA-93029953-1’, ‘enable_tracker’ => true, ‘track_adm_pages’ => true, ‘ignore_users’ => true, ‘max_user_level’ => ‘8’, ‘footer_hooked’ => true, ‘filter_content’ => true, ‘filter_comments’ => true, ‘filter_comment_authors’ => true, ‘track_ext_links’ => true, ‘prefix_ext_links’ => ‘/outgoing/’, ‘track_files’ => true, ‘prefix_file_links’ => ‘/downloads/’, ‘track_extensions’ => ‘gif,jpg,jpeg,bmp,png,pdf,mp3,wav,phps,zip,gz,tar,rar,jar,exe,pps,ppt,xls,doc’, ‘track_mail_links’ => true, ‘prefix_mail_links’ => ‘/mailto/’, ‘debug’ => true, ‘check_updates’ => true, ‘version_sent’ => ‘1.6.0’, ‘advanced_config’ => true, ) Ending uga_get_option: max_user_level (8) Not tracking user with level 10 Ending uga_track_user: Ending uga_get_tracker: Start uga_insert_html_once: footer, Footer hooked: HTML inserted: Location is FOOTER Inserting HTML End uga_insert_html Ending uga_wp_footer_track: Start uga_shutdown Start uga_in_feed Ending uga_in_feed: Start uga_track_user Start uga_get_option: ignore_users uga_options: array ( ‘internal_domains’ => ‘www.taxattorneyn

The page url is:
https://www.taxattorneynearme.us/alaska-2/

On my homepage, the original content is now replicated seveal times:
https://www.taxattorneynearme.us/

Any idea how to reverse the update?

Scary that 1 update can result in a site breakdown.

Many Thanks,
Best Regards,
Christie

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Christie

That looks very strange. That particular error looks like it might be coming from the plugin called Head Cleaner. Do you have this installed?

This problem sounds like it might be a caching issue. The first thing to check is server-side caching through plugins like W3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, etc. If you have any of these caching/performance plugins installed, try clearing their cache and see if that helps.

You can read more about this sort of issue on the WordPress codex.

If that doesn’t fix the problem, then you can either do a full plugin conflict test, or use the WP Rollback plugin to roll Page Builder back to a previous version (like 2.4.25). Here’s a video on doing a plugin conflict test:

    Hey Greg,

    TYVM for the speedy response.

    The Rollback plugin is great.

I must admit that it seems that the Page Builder update is not to be blamed.

The offending codes only disappeared when I deactivated the Ultimate Google Analytics plugin.

    Thanks again,

    Best regards,
    Christie
