Pagebuilder: Two suggestions

Hello my friend,

First of all: I absolutely love your vantage theme and especially your page builder plugin.
I use it for pretty much all my clients. Awesome work right there!

Just two little things are missing in my opinion:

1.) The option to add custom classes to a row. I modified your pagebuilder code a little bit and it works like a charm but of course I’m sure you could integrate this a lot better than me. Just put another in the “modify row” modal where one can add one or more custom classes seperated by spaces. Then just use that string.

2.) Maybe add another INSIDE the “panel-row-style” div.
What does it do? Now you can do the following:
Do NOT use a container sorrounding all your content. If you do that and you wanna have a row which is fullwidth you have to use the little hack you are using yourself in the vantage theme (padding: 1000px, margin: -1000px). This is not ideal.
If you integrate that one more as suggested by me and leave out a sorrounding container with a max-width but leaving the container fullwidth you can achieve 3 different designs just by using row styles and some css:
-) boxed style –> content AND background are centered and boxed (thus, have a max-width)
-) fullwidth background but boxed content
-) fullwidth background WITH fullwidth content (for example for fullwidth sliders and such).

I hope you understand what I am suggesting. I integrated both things myself into your code and they both work just fine! :-)
If you have any questions please don’t hestitate to contact me!

Cheers and again … awesome work man!!

best, Patrick

Damned … code was lost. So in 1.) I’m talking about ‘s where you can put in one or more custom classes.
    In 2.) it’s all about ‘s

Seems like your code plugin is broken! :D one last time: first: inputs, second: divs

        Hi, I Work Here

Aaah yeah, I’ve have to get down to fixing this code shortcode issue. I’ll reply to your main thread post in a little bit.

    Fully agree.
Additional div container inside “.panel-row-style” div will be very usefull or maybe put “.panel-row-style” outside “.panel-grid” div.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Patrick

First off, really awesome that you’re such a fan of Page Builder. Both your ideas are awesome, I’m definitely going to be implementing #1 and will take a closer look at #2 when I get back down to working on Page Builder (August has been a little to hectic for me to give that plugin the love and attention it deserves).

Something I was able to fix – the forum code shortcodes. They shouldn’t be chomping up code anymore :)

Awesome that you like my suggestions!
I suppose you don’t have any questions on how to do this as you built the plugin! :D Although if you do just write here or contact me elsewhere. I’d love to help if I can!

    Hi Patrick,

Great stuff. This is exactly what i am looking for. Is there any chance you could share your solutions here, so i can implement them also?

    @Greg:
