Hi,
Have been scanning this forum for half a day now to find dozens of threads about this issue, but none with a solution so far.
I’k using:
WP 4.4.1 (multisite)
Vantage theme Premium 2.2.4
Pagebuilder 2.2.2
Yoast 10.9

(“copy content” is enabled in pagebuilder)

I’m setting up a site http://villabussola.eu and installed Yoast.So far so good…
Yoast seems to be unable to see content in pagebuilder rows, and that is a very big issue i think! It will keep you from using the Yoast capabilities where it is renowned for..

Just now I’ve noticed a very strange thing.
I’ve made some screenshots to show you…

What Yoast shows when i open a page:

What Yoast shows when i klik a edit button:

What Yoast shows after editing:

This is a big issue for me and apparently for many others…. Yoast is by far the most respected SEO plugin for wordpress and i really would want them to work together as they should. I’m not looking forward of recreating everything without the pagebuilder plugin wich in my opinion is the only option remaining when there is no solution…. SEO is far more important then simplified layout help…

I would really appreciate a solution for this issue…

    Update:

Yes there is another weird thing going on that i can’t place…
in the images you can see that Yoast shows my static home page url as: http://domainname.com/example-post/ That is another serious issue i found out many others have encountered.. Have no idea if it’s a theme related or a Yoast issue….

It’s actualy only on the static homepage that at first Yoast shows the correct wordcount. on all other pages word count is zero.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Peter

Unfortunately with all the changes in Yoast 3.0, it no longer works with Page Builder. For the time being we’re recommending that users roll back to an older version if they want the full SEO capabilities.

Any version in the 2.x branch should work well, so 2.3.5.

We are planning on fixing compatibility, unfortunately we don’t have an exact ETA on this. You can keep up to date on the issue on Github

    Than’s for your reply Greg,

Are we talking days, weeks or monthts? ;-)
I have some spare time to get everything going so for the moment i’ll wait and see.

I don’t think it is all about incompatibility with pagebuilder, just the text analysis problem.
The other thing mentioned, the domain.com/example-post issue is on manny forums and most probably a Yoast thing….

I did some additional testing and it seems like on most pages i got things working while on some it’s just not…. it’s just functioning unpredictably…

Hope you guys get it done!

    Hi, I Work Here

It all depends on how complex the issue lands up being. It might be a simple one line fix, but it might require a few custom hacks to get it working again. I’ll post my findings on that Github issue though.

Hopefully it doesn’t run into months though :)
