Menu disappears from home page when using custom menu

On the Home page the menu disappears, leaving only a thin strip of the menu color where the menu should be.

Multiple web/microsites allowed?

I have a small business client who wants to set up several microsites for their business to target specific cities they service, rather than a single website.

How do you get the images in Masonry not to shrink?

My featured image gets reduced in size in order to fit the block but it has other dimensions.
