page title appearing twice

I’ve imported html from some old static pages and the title is being inserted twice into the visible html. Even if I select “full width no title”, one instance continues to appear. When I view selection source (full width template), this is what I see. The second div class is the one that remains if I change to the no-title template.

How can I prevent these from happening? Even if I want to use the title, I don’t need it to appear twice.
