I really have the feeling this is going to be a no brainer, but I still am stumped rn.
I am adding pages and they are only visible to me as drafts. Once I publish them I get the hosting service’s error message “The page you requested is NOT AVAILABLE A general error has occurred ” screen. How? Why?
Do I have to manually confirm these pages need to be visible anywhere BESIDES where I edit them? I don’t remember having to do that before.
Is this a SiteOrigin issue? A WordPress Issue? Hosting? According to google apparently no one else on this planet has ever experienced this problem.
Thanks
Jennifer
Hi Jennifer,
I’m unsure why this is happening. Can you please link me to one of the pages?
Also, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you’re using a child theme, try temporarily using only the main theme.
