page is reverting to a default “mobile” site (?) on desktop.

my current version of origami premium is 2.5.14

how can I update if I am not getting update notices? I am currently having a conflict so I would like to get the latest version (2.6.1) and see if that resolves anything. the problem is that my page reverts to what looks like a mobile version, but one without any of the css changes I have made in my child theme. instead of the origami menu, it shows a menu button in the upper left corner? if I clear my cache in w3 total cache, it goes back to what it should be. I have no idea why it is doing this and don’t want to have to keep fixing it by emptying cache.

Any help on not only getting the latest version, but resolving my conflict is greatly appreciated.

thanks

I have discovered that the “mobile friendly” navigation issue is related to jetpack and have disabled that option (in jetpack). Should I now have the box checked in my theme settings that says “allow responsive navigation”?

Also, I still want to be able to update my Origami premium to the latest version. Please tell me how to do that if I am not getting update notices in my dashboard. Not sure why I am not, but I’m not.

    Thank you
