Hi,
After upgrading page builder plugin to 2.0.3 all my page content was deleted!
Why?
How can I avoid it from happening next time?
Is there any way to restore what was deleted?
Tried to compare versions of the page but all came ups without the page builder content.
now I have to build my main page from scratch on http://ramon253.udiburg.com
Hi 007me
Really sorry to hear this.
We’ve never seen this before. We’d need to figure out what happened before we could stop it happening again.
Please try this:
1. Run all pending updates from Dashboard > Updates.
2. Ensure Page Builder is on version 2.0.3.
3. Check that you aren’t running our Legacy Widgets plugin, if you are, de-activate and delete it.
4. De-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins and re-test.
5. If the problem is still not resolved, try switching to a default theme like Twenty Fourteen and see if the problem resolves.
Hi,
1. I’ve run all pending updates.
2. Page Builder is 2.0.3
3. Which legacy widgets? I don’t have any other of you.
4. Not reasonable request for running website.
5. Not resonable as well.
I’ve deleted the page content, after keeping it aside.
I started entering the content using page builder.
once finished it looks ok to the visitors here: http://tinyurl.com/lerwnv
But in the page editor, once I clicked the “publish” button it returns to the “text Editor” tab instead of the “page builder” tab. and I see all the HTML code over there.
when I click the “Page Builder” tab it is empty again!
Same for few other pages on this website :(
Ok, also tried switching themes, but same respond.
Nothing on the page builder tab in the editor.
All moved to the Text and Visual tabs
Thanks for the feedback. It’s important that we try rule out a plugin conflict. The only way to do that is to de-activate all plugins besides Page Builder and then re-test. If you’d like you can put your site in Maintenance Mode before doing so using: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-maintenance-mode/. We’ve tested that plugin so you can run the test with just Page Builder and WP Maintenance Mode activated. That’ll let us know if a plugin is to blame.
Additionally, please check for any JS errors when using Page Builder:

Hi Andrew,
will try both and will update.
Ok,
Disabled all plugins! besides Page Builder but it didn’t help.
I’ve created new row, with 2 columns, added Enhanced Text widget to both, with content, published it and once clicked the Publish button it returned to the Visual Editor again.
The Page Builder tab become empty again.
Sorry to hear this. Please can you send through the following to [email protected]
An email with:
* A link back to this thread so we can reference things.
* A set of temporary login details.
Please send everything in one email, not via the WordPress automated user email.
We’ll take a look ASAP.
Thanks
What do you mean by a set of temporary login details?
If you’d like us to login to your WordPress installation and take a look, head to Users in WordPress and create a new Administrator account – a temporary set of login details as you’ll delete the account once we’re done.
Thanks
