Page Builder Won’t Save/Edit

Hello,

Some of our website pages are made with Page Builder and some are not. The pages made in Page Builder will not save. When you complete an edit on a page and “press” Done, nothing happens. If you “X” out of the page, it won’t close. It appears to lock up and the edit is never completed. Only if I delete the whole page and start over again can I complete an edit.

Please help.
Thank you.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi DevelopmentDirector

Are you getting any Javascript console errors? This might point us in the right direction.

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue though. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi Greg –

    Thank you for answering.

I’m not having an Java errors.

I don’t think I can deactivate all my plug ins, this is a schools site I’m work on.
If I deactivate all my plug ins won’t that mess up my site completely OR once I reactivate them will the site go back to “normal”?
This is my first website I’ve built on my own and I am completely self-taught, self-reliant, etc.

The theme is also not SiteOrgin.

    Hello,

I did deactivate and found it was a plugin called "Donation Button" in case anyone else has a problem.

    Thank you for your help!
