Since the last Update of Page Builder i am facing the same issue. My solution was, not to use the Visual Editor, but only Text Widget, where you can easily use html as well and the embedding is also working. As long, as this bug is not fixed, it is the easiest way to show up your videos. But i am confident, that SiteOrigin is working on that issue.

Hi Cyed and Joachim
Thanks for reporting. I’m not able to replicate at the moment. Here is how I’m testing:
Video URL. I’m just inserting this, nothing else:
Widgets tested in Page Builder with:
SiteOrigin Editor
Visual Editor (Black Studio)
SiteOrigin Video widget (SiteOrigin Widgets bundle)
Running Page Builder 2,2 and WordPress 4.3.
Anything I’m missing in the above test?
SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle – Video Player widget is no longer displaying video at this site I manage

The video is embedded from Youtube and has been working perfect since last Dec. recently I updated SO Page Builder and SO Widgets Bundle plugins and believe this is when it stopped working. (not certain) This is the link that is currently in the widget in the video file URL area, set to Externally hosted, Autoplay checked.

Was working fine, now it just shows a black box on the home page with a link that says Download File which does nothing.
If I try to just use regular html embed code in a text widget,
….it works but then I dont have the Autoplay option and the video will go to the next video in Youtubes playlist – which is not ideal.
Does SO have a fix for this?
Would reinstalling the older version of the So Widgets Bundle plugin work?
If i cant fix my client will automatically try to blame me for it not working. Please help me save this headache.
Thanks
I am also having the same issue as CampaignAgents.
I was using the slider widget for my videos an it was working fine until yesterday. I then switched to the video widget but I experienced the black box saying “Download File”.
I’ve tried deactivation plugins, updated the page builder and site origin plugin and check the console for error but cant find anything.
