I building a page and am using Page Builder however I think that Page Builder is more limited than Visual or HTML editing. I have been trying to edit the page in the Visual and HTML tab however any edits that I make on those tabs do not stick and they get overridden by Page Builder. How do I prevent this from happening?
Delete all the content out of Page Builder for that specific page and it will fall back to the visual or HTML editor.
Hi Daniel
You do need to choose whether to use Page Builder or not on a given page/post. If you’re editing a page using Page Builder then only edit that page in Page Builder. Hope that makes sense.
Thank you for your response Andrew. Is there any way to edit outside of Page Builder within the Visual tab while page builder is installed? If I am not mistaken you can do a lot more text editing with HTML code or through the Visual tabs versus editing text within the Page Builder. I am new at WordPress, thats why my questions may be a bit elementary.
For sure. The decision is a page by page one. So on one page you can choose use only Visual and on another you could use Page Builder. You just can’t use both on one page.
To add a Visual Editor to Page Builder you can use: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/
