Page Builder Not Working Online

I have been designing a website for the Rosebud Charity www.rosebudcentre.org. I used Page Builder to layout some of the pages. Its working very well on my local development server. When I released it online I am unable to edit any new pages. I followed a number of posting on how to find out whats going on and try to fix it. If I don’t enable Page Builder I can edit pages with the standard editor. But as soon as page builder is enabled I cant’t build or edit new pages. Its the Page Builder plugin which is breaking the back-end of the site. Please can anyone help.

    Things I have tried to date.
    changing theme back and fourth. This gave me standard visual editor, but it does not work in text mode.
    clearing the cache’s makes no difference.
    replacing tinymce in the js folder makes no difference.
    checking the php modules on my local machine and the remote server.
    reinstalling the plugin’s
    deactivating the plugin’s and enabling there on by one to find which one is breaking the installation. every time its Page Builder.
    I have tried to break it on my local machine by switching php and apache modules. I can not break it on the local machine.

    I have given my time free of charge to build this site for the Rosebud Centre Charity. Please could some body help or I will be forced to stop using Page Builder. I normally don’t use plugin’s because I don’t know what going on with them. I used the plugin’s this time to save some time and make it easier for Rrosebud Centre staff to update. Was this a mistake ?. This seems to be a common problem why has it not been sorted out by SiteOrigin ?.

    I have spent a number of hours working on this problem and finally come across the solution. Its not the plugin software that’s at fault. Its down to there not being enough PHP memory allocated. In the php.ini file the is a variable called memory_limit which needs its value updated from 128M so the plugin works. In the video I found which I will put below a value was use of 512M but this can be optimized for your theme. The second part is to add a line in the wp-config.php file in the root of your theme to expand the maxinium memory WordPress uses. The value for memory_limit needs to be at least the same as the max WordPress memory.

    Add the following to wp-config.pnp define(‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’,’512M’);

    The video with a full detailed explanation is @ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CraQ78a14Mw&t=905s

    I hope this will be useful to you. If this sorts your problem please let me know I would like to get an some feedback on the success rate.

    This properly the final update. I have been waiting for the site owner to get the host to update the php.ini file this seems not to be happening. I don’t have the authorization to get it done. I would like to know if anyone had success with the remedy above. I have spent many hours now try to sort this problem. I can not replicate it on my local environment. I have even updated my Apache server to 2.4.27 and php 5.6.

    Is there a minimum configuration needed for Page Builder to work. I would like a check list which could be ticked of on the remote server an I limited access.

    running out of idears
