Page Builder Not showing in Appearance Menu

So when I activate Page Builder, the Home Page option in the Appearance Menu and I cannot edit the default homepage.

If Page Builder is deactivated, the Home Page option returns with the notice to install page builder to edit the custom home page.

I’m using WP v4.0 and Page Builder 1.5.2. I’ve turned off all plugins apart from Page Builder, and reinstalled WP again.

Hi short, Ashraf, trailerparkboy, Maria, Graham and Robert.

Sorry we missed this thread. The two issues with Page Builder 1.5.2 have been resolved in 1.5.3. These two issues were the Appearance > Home Page menu item disappearing from SiteOrigin themes and content being dumped above Post Loop widgets. We sincerely apologise for the hassles caused and pushed an update as soon as we became aware of the problem. If you’re still experiencing problems please open a new support thread and we’ll assist ASAP.

I had this problem. The culprit was CKEditor 4.4.4

Deactivated and the problem went away. Reactivated and it came back., so I’ve deleted it.

          Hi saun al

This is a regular challenge that pre-dates the 1.5.1 – 1.5.2 Page Builder bugs. It’s in almost every case, due to a plugin conflict. Please temporarily de-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins, re-check, if the issue is resolved then activate your plugins one by one, each time looking at the home page to see if the stalled loading is reoccurring.

For further assistance please crank open a new thread and we’ll be with you there:
